brow lamination

What’s the fluff about? Brow lamination is the latest eyebrow enhancement trend that has just hit South African shores. We travelled to Kiev, Ukraine, earlier this year to obtain our Advanced certification and accreditation to perform this new technique safely – and we are excited to share it all with you!

the technique

Brow Lamination originated in Russia and is designed to create fluffy, fuller and longer looking eyebrows! This innovative technique is used to smooth, straighten and lift the brow hairs into a more vertical position to create the illusion of more defined looking eyebrows. Whether your brows are over-plucked, unruly, thinning or has gaps, this new procedure will lift them up to conceal any flaws. Think of this as a Lash Lift, but for your brows!

online training information

If you prefer self-paced learning, then we recommend that you enroll for our Online Brow Lamination Course. This can be done entirely online and covers all areas of the treatment process. Upon purchasing The Brow Lamination Course – access details will be sent to you via email and the online course will appear in your student account. the procedure

A series of lifting solutions are applied to perform a semi-permanent eyebrow lift and is completely pain-free. These solutions create a chemical breakdown of the bonds in each hair, allowing them to be repositioned. Afterwards, a nourishing keratin mask is applied to replenish moisture in the brow hairs. To enhance the treatment even further, we apply a brow tint which will add more shape and definition to the eyebrows. The treatment will last between 4-6 weeks and has proven to lift and define even the sparsest brows!

Q & a

Is Brow Lamination Suitable For Everyone?

Yes, it is! No matter what your eyebrow concerns are, whether it be gaps, thinning, unruly, old PMU or overplucked brows, Brow Lamination is an amazing treatment for any client. (Although the client does need to have actual brow hair, we cannot perform the treatment on a client who has undergone chemotherapy and hardly has any natural brow hair.)

How Long Will My Brows Stay In Place For?

The Brow Lamination will last 4-6 weeks, depending on your natural hair growth cycle.

How Long Does It Take To Complete The Treatment?

The treatment will take about 45-60 minutes, depending on whether we are also tinting the brows.

How Do I Care For My Brows Once I’ve Had Them Done?

After the first 24 hours, you may continue with your regular skincare and makeup regime, being mindful of applying products over the brow area as any chemical infused product like a toner or serum will affect the Lamination. You will need to brush and apply a nourishing oil ( coconut oil, castor oil or growth serum) to your brows daily to ensure they stay nourished.

Can I Get My Eyebrows Tinted As Well?

Yes, of course! The Lamination and tint is the perfect combination as the tint will darken and create the illusion of a fuller brow.
