With the developments, and innovations in the Brow Industry we are thrilled to launch our new Powder Brows Course with Clarissa Gess as our Head Educator.

We have designed our Powder Brows course along with our educator, Clarissa Gess, to be extremely thorough and in-depth, giving our students the strongest possible foundation. Our goal is to have our students leave the academy feeling confident and inspired to start with the case study procedure immediately. Clarissa will be dedicating her undivided attention to each and every student, ensuring they master the art of Powder Brows. We are most excited about our Conversion course which is designed for current Lovella Microblading artists who are wanting to convert to machine brows.
foundation course
The Foundation Powder Brow Course is designed for students who have no previous experience in permanent brows. This course is extremely hands-on and in-depth to ensure that students have a solid foundation when entering the industry. During training we will work on practice skin as well as one live model. Our goal is to prepare students to create quality work and our step by step certification process ensures that students are confident to accept clients once they have become Lovella certified.

conversion course
The Conversion Powder Brow Course is designed for certified Lovella Microblading Artists who are wanting to advance their skillset and offer Powder Brows in their salon. During training we will work on practice skin as well as one live model. This course runs with our Foundation course which means that students will receive all the knowledge and hands-on training to master this technique.
*A training fee discount applies to all Conversion students.

Certification process
the technique
Powder or Ombre brows are a soft, misty, powder-filled brow similar to the look of makeup. This means the tails of the brow are darker and fade into a lighter color at the head of the brow, giving them a very subtle Ombré appearance. Over time, pigment fades about 50% leaving your clients with amazing results. This technique is done with the use of a digital device, making it less invasive than manual methods (Microblading) and is suitable for all skin types. Powder Brows typically last up to 2 years.

Our Foundation Course comprehensive product kit is designed to equip students with all the essential products they need to perform roughly 60 Powder Brow procedures. After training, all products can be purchased from our online store and delivered directly to your salon.

Once you have registered for our Powder Brow course, you will gain access to the Lovella Online Academy. This platformed is designed for students to begin studying the theory related aspects prior to the practical class as well as completing a printed practice workbook, giving you the strongest start. The online training can be done on a cell phone, i-Pad, laptop or computer in your own time.
practical training
Our practical training is presented by our highly qualified and skilled educator, Clarissa Gess, with our educational focus being on safety and technique. Classes are kept small to ensure that students receive one on one attention and guidance while working on live models.
* Please note students are required to arrange their own models on these days.

After the Practical Training, you can still revisit the online theory and step-by-step guides. Our case study process is extremely detailed and broken down into steps to ensure that you gain confidence and build your skills as you continue to practice. During this time your educator will review, assist and guide you every step of the way to becoming a certified Lovella Artist.

We understand the importance of a kind, supportive and nurturing educator – and she is just that! Clarissa will be working closely with every student during and after training to ensure that they receive all the guidance necessary to become a certified Lovella artist.

After completion of your online training and practical training days, you will begin practicing and building your skills step by step. At Lovella we take certification very seriously! We want the learning and the dialogue to continue; so that we can make sure that your knowledge can be put into action and implemented into your brow sets!

You will have 120 days to complete your case studies from the date of completion of your theoretical and practical training. Failure to do so will require you to attend refresher training at an additional cost.
